Vertical streaming for TikTok Live and Twitch portrait is no longer a hack. The 2026 build relies on a Magewell Pro Convert with sub-4ms capture latency, a dual-camera setup feeding both 16:9 and 9:16 outputs, and a portrait-native overlay system in OBS 3.2.

The chair-camera pairing matters more than people admit. A vertical 4K capture on a 24mm equivalent lens flatters faces; a 16mm wide gets ugly fast at vertical crop. Plan the lens choice first, build the rig around it.
