ALGS Year 6 calendar is locked: three Splits, a new repechage round between Split 1 and Split 2, and a Last Chance Qualifier ahead of Championship. The competitive integrity is meaningfully up; the broadcast complexity is going to be a story for casual viewers.

Repechage is the format change competitive teams have been asking for. It gives borderline teams a second path to Championship and rewards consistent regional form rather than punishing one bad day in qualifiers.

The North American region is the one to watch this year. Roster moves over the off-season concentrated talent into a tighter top six, which means qualifying out of NA is meaningfully harder than qualifying out of EMEA or APAC.
