Intel quietly confirmed the Arc B770+ refresh: 16GB GDDR6X, +18% raster on average over the original B770, real ray tracing performance gains thanks to a new RT core layout, and a $349 MSRP. Intel finally has a card people will actually buy at the mid-range.

The driver story is the bigger structural change. The latest Arc driver branch ships clean DX9 and DX11 performance for the first time, which retired the single biggest reason mainstream reviewers downgraded the original Arc cards.

At $349, the B770+ slots cleanly between the RX 9050 and the RX 9070 from AMD. It is now a legitimate three-way choice at the 1440p tier instead of the two-way race the segment has been since 2022.
